Situation:
The borrower was in default of certain loan covenants and the loan matured without refinance or payment. Therefore, the lender decided to proceed with a court appointed receivership process, in which RockPointe was appointed the receiver.
RockPointe Highlights:
RockPointe CRE was appointed Receiver over the asset. The Receiver immediately took control of the cash and decision-making ability to stabilize the operations and finances. As a broker, RockPointe CRE identified buyer groups and selected a stalking horse buyer.
